Once again Caktuz pulls no punches with the phonetically titled "Kottdayumn!!". This fan favorite from his recent 2011 UK tour has only been performed live before now.
Originally written as a demo for an ill fated 9th Wonder collaboration (the beat is a chopped loop from Little Brothers "Home"), Caktuz drops this gritty black & white video, directed by Deitrich Davis (Director of Photography…

What is Japan Music Week?
JMW is an international music conference and festival held around Tokyo's Shibuya area during November 4-13, 2011. We support music artists and businesses by featuring showcase performances, seminars and networking events that bring people together from different regions, genres and industry sectors. A discount entry wristband system allows free entry for fans and industry to over 100 events, and discount entry to many more.
Japan Music Week in 2009 and 2010 involved over 500 artists from 50 countries at 40 venues, with over 10,000 attendees.
How can performers apply?
Artists and DJs! To apply for entry to Japan Music Week 2011, please sign up on this site by creating a profile using your official artist name. (Note: 'gender/age' stay private) Once approved, please join/create groups to show your regions and genres, add your music, videos and extra photos and start discussion. Event organizers may then invite you to join suitable events.
There is no mandatory fee to artists for joining JMW, but you need to organize your own finances. Either a) you'll pay your own way to Tokyo and all costs, b) we'll support your grant application to your government, or c) you'll find an event organizer who is willing to pay for your trip. (*Option C is unlikely this year unless you are already famous in Japan, so it may be safest to envisage self-funding this time, but future trips paying for themselves)
Additionally, (and optionally) if you wish to become an official JMW showcase artist, you'll need to pay a ¥10,000 registration fee, and agree to play at least one event that is free to wristband holders, and we will book you into at least three events.
As a first step in applying to join Japan Music Week 2011, please sign up on this site, then join any groups that match your musical interests, or create new groups.
(Please be sure to create a profile right from the beginning as your ARTIST NAME, so event organizers, venues and media will be able to find and contact you easily.)
Note about this site:
* Only artists interested in joining JMW 2011 should sign up here. Music fans should join: japanmusicweek.ning.com or JMW's Facebook site. Music industry should join japanmusicweek.ning.com and Music Biz Japan
* This site is based on the Ning social network platform. Even if you have a different Ning profile already, please create a new profile and log-in using your artist name as the profile name here. (You may need to sign out and log in again first.)
* 'Gender' and 'date of birth' are Ning required fields but will not be visible.
* Your JMW goals, contact information and requests will not be seen publicly.
* Please mail us at international@japanmusicweek.com if you have any questions.
Thank you for your interest in JMW!
